We've completed our loop of the Brittany region of France,

turned in our rental (without a dent!) and board the TGV

back to Paris where we race across town from Gare

Montparnasse to Gare du Nord (Gare = Train Station.)

Jan convinces me to give up the idea of dragging our

luggage through the Metro and instead get one last tour

of Paris as our taxi speeds us to catch EuroStar and our

3 hour trip from Paris to London via the Chunnel - the

tunnel under the English channel.

London is like an old friend to us, this being our

fifth trip there. That, and being able to understand

the conversations taking place around us. (and

read the menus!)

We say farewell to another European trip and

return to the U.S.A.
